Fondazione Casa Stradivari wishes to express its deepest gratitude to Regione Lombardia, the Municipality of Cremona, and Italy Pavillion for their support in making possible the project that brought Casa Stradivari and the Stradivari “The Angel” – ex Madrileno 1720, together with violinist Fabrizio von Arx and pianist Antonio Valentino, to represent Cremonese violin making and Lombard excellence.
It was a unique opportunity to tell the story of the city of Cremona in all its dimensions: the tradition, art, music, and craftsmanship that have made it, for centuries, a symbol of Italian beauty and mastery.
Witnessing a Stradivari in dialogue with other works of art hosted in the Italy Pavilion was an extraordinary experience, capable of uniting history, culture, and the soul of Italy in a single narrative.
A special thanks also goes to the Japanese audience - exceptionally attentive, engaged, and sensitive - who welcomed with deep respect and genuine emotion the music and the great beauty of our artistic and cultural heritage.
