Fondazione Casa Stradivari
Founded in 2021 by Vincent Bernasconi, Antonio Gambardella, Fabrizio von Arx and Stefania Soldi, the Casa Stradivari Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation and enhancement of Casa Stradivari and its rich history.
Through cultural and educational initiatives, the Foundation is committed to keep the art of Cremonese violin making alive and promote the historical and cultural importance of the House.
Inauguration
4 July 2023
The Casa Stradivari Foundation was officially inaugurated on 4 July 2023, choosing a date of particular historical significance: on 4 July 1667, the marriage between Antonio Stradivari and Francesca Ferraboschi was celebrated. After their wedding, the couple moved into the building that today houses the Casa Stradivari Foundation, a place closely connected to the private and professional life of the Master violin maker.
The choice of the inauguration date was intended to recall this important historical reference and highlight the connection between the Foundation’s premises and the figure of Antonio Stradivari.
The opening of the Foundation was preceded by two days of celebratory concerts, conceived to share a moment of celebration with the city through music.
